An Luu Ward, Kinh Mon Town (Hai Duong) has just completed and put into use a number of traffic safety items worth 2.5 billion VND.
On December 13, Mr. Dang Van Duc, Chairman of An Luu Ward People's Committee, said that the above traffic safety items were invested from the Motor Vehicle Insurance Fund - Vietnam Insurance Association, the town's budget and other legal sources.
Traffic safety items include: installation of guardrails with reflective guide eyes at the curves under Dinh Bridge; convex mirror systems at the intersections of Tran Hung Dao - Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Trai - Hai Dong, Quang Trung - Giap Son; traffic light systems at the intersection of Thanh Nien - Nguyen Dai Nang - Giap Son and some traffic signs.
This is the central area of the ward, with many schools and traffic junctions in the area. Especially since Dinh Bridge connecting Hai Phong City was opened, the traffic density is high, many heavy trucks pass through, many accidents occur causing congestion, losing the urban beauty, especially during rush hour. The completion and putting into use of the above items helps ensure traffic safety in the area.
