Hai Duong women plant and care for 525 km of flower roads

Leaders of the Provincial Women's Union awarded first prize in the "Online Cooking" contest to representatives of the Nam Sach District Women's Union.

Women's Unions at all levels in the province currently have 1,858 models and environmental protection clubs with nearly 57,600 members participating. In the first 6 months of the year, women's unions at all levels in the province continued to organize communication activities to improve knowledge of environmental protection, and mobilize members to classify waste at source and dispose of waste in the right place. Maintain and expand the model of planting flowers to replace weeds, planting more than 6 km of flower roads, bringing the total number of flower roads in the province to 525 km. Mobilize women members to actively participate in cleaning village roads, collecting garbage, clearing streams, and cleaning on one day of the week such as: "Green Saturday, Sunday"... The Provincial Women's Union has provided knowledge on classifying and treating organic waste with IMO microorganisms at home, instructed and practiced making IMO microorganisms from organic waste to make fertilizer for agricultural production, and applied IMO microorganisms to take care of tree paths, women's flower paths... in all levels of the union.

At the conference to deploy tasks for the last months of 2023, the Provincial Women's Union awarded prizes for the "Online Cooking" contest. This contest was launched with the theme "Sending love to family meals" taking place from May 22 to June 5 on the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day, June 28. The organizing committee received 105 entries. As a result, the first prize went to Ms. Vi Thi Chien in Nam Sach town; Ms. Do Thi Diu in Phu Thu ward (Kinh Mon) and Ms. Do Thi Vinh in An Lac ward (Chi Linh) won the second prize.
