On the morning of July 21, the Central Youth Union organized the "Peak Day of joining hands to build landscapes and protect rural environment" at the central level in 2024 in Thang Long commune (Kinh Mon).
"Peak day of joining hands to build landscapes and protect rural environment" deploys volunteer teams to participate in the following routes: The "Young intellectuals volunteer to build new rural areas" team deploys a training conference on knowledge on waste classification and processing in environmental protection in 2024. Opening of a digital agricultural booth on the Metaverse platform - a place to exhibit agricultural products online; inaugurating a bookshelf for children, visiting the booth of young people who are good at economics in the locality.
The "Pink Holiday" team examined and treated patients and provided free medicine to people. The "Green Summer" team planted "Youth Trees". The "Red Flamboyant" team implemented a model of a traditional market to reduce plastic waste and pay "0 VND" in cash, classifying waste at source. The "Green March" team inaugurated the project "Digitizing the special national historical relic of Cao - An Phu Temple" and cleaned up the martyrs' cemetery.
On this occasion, the Central Youth Union and its accompanying units presented Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union with 2 models of waste classification at source, 2 rows of youth trees, 1 agricultural product floor on the Metaverse platform, 1 model of a traditional market to reduce plastic waste and pay cash "0 VND", 2 booths to exchange plastic waste for green trees; support for organizing training on knowledge of waste classification and processing in environmental protection in 2024.
Also at the program, the Organizing Committee presented 30 gifts to children in difficult circumstances, 30 gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and former youth volunteers, and 300 books to the library of Thang Long Secondary School.
Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union presented the locality with a project to digitize information on the special national historical relic Cao - An Phu Temple, a car wash model to raise funds, and 130 free medicines and gifts for local people.
The total value of support resources is 260 million VND.
"The peak day of joining hands to build landscapes and protect the rural environment" simultaneously deployed nationwide is an opportunity for young people to affirm their determination, sense of responsibility, and enthusiasm in building landscapes, protecting the environment, and responding to climate change towards sustainable development, contributing to building a rich, beautiful, and civilized homeland and country.
