The General Department of Customs has just transferred and appointed Mr. Tran Manh Cuong, Director of Quang Tri Customs Department, to hold the position of Director of Hai Phong City Customs Department from December 1, 2024.

Mr. Tran Manh Cuong was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of Hai Phong City Customs Department from December 1, 2024 (according to Decision No. 2709/QD-TCHQ dated November 21, 2024 of the General Director of the General Department of Customs).
Mr. Tran Manh Cuong was born in 1973 in Hai Duong, has a master's degree and is a senior official in political theory. He has held many positions at the Hai Phong Customs Department, from an officer of the Import-Export Tax Inspection Department, an officer of the Hai Phong Port Customs Branch, Region I, to leadership positions such as Deputy Head of the Import-Export Goods Procedure Team at branches under the Hai Phong Customs Department.
In particular, he held the position of Head of the Post-clearance Inspection Department before taking on the role of Deputy Head of the Post-clearance Inspection Department at the General Department of Customs in August 2019. On April 1, 2022, he was appointed as Head of the Quang Tri Provincial Customs Department.
