Mr. Cao Tuong Huy was introduced as Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee.

On November 14, the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a conference of key officials, the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee to implement the Politburo's 5-step process on decentralization of cadre management and appointment, introduction of Central candidates to introduce personnel for the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term and the position of Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term.

Based on the proposal of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, on November 9, the Central Party Secretariat agreed in principle to carry out the process of perfecting the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term from local human resources in the planning, ensuring standards and conditions according to regulations.

On November 10, the Central Party Secretariat agreed in principle to carry out the process of completing the position of Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term from local personnel to replace Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan, former Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province.

At the conference, delegates voted to introduce candidates for the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term and Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term.

Accordingly, Cao Tuong Huy, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Acting Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, received absolute trust to be nominated to fill the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, 15th National Assembly Delegate Dang Xuan Phuong has received absolute trust to be nominated to fill the position of Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province, term 2021-2026.
