On the afternoon of July 12, the Club of Women Deputies of the National Assembly and People's Councils at 2 levels of Hai Duong province organized activities for the first 6 months of 2023.
The Women's National Assembly and People's Council Club of Hai Duong province discussed the results of activities in the first 6 months of the year.
The female delegates discussed the club's performance in the first 6 months of the year and the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.
In the first 6 months of 2023, the club organized capacity building training for female delegates on the topic of gender mainstreaming and the role of People's Council delegates; gender equality training for provincial and district People's Council delegates, inviting male provincial and district People's Council delegates to attend. Club members who are also female National Assembly and Provincial People's Council delegates and female district leaders actively attended meetings, supervision and questioning activities of the National Assembly and Provincial and District People's Councils, and activities of People's Council delegations. Before and after each regular session, female delegates participated in voter contact activities, citizen reception, and were a bridge to reflect the legitimate aspirations of voters to the Party, State, and local authorities.
In the last 6 months of 2023, the club will continue to perform well the functions and tasks of a National Assembly delegate, People's Council at provincial and district levels, and increase the organization of exchanges and experience sharing in a number of districts, towns, cities and some other provinces.
