Former Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee Vu Viet Anh was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

On the afternoon of May 22, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held the 13th conference to negotiate and complete the membership of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and appoint the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to comrade Vu Viet Anh, former Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Ha district.

With 100% of the delegates present in agreement, the conference unanimously agreed to elect comrade Vu Viet Anh to join the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XVI, 2019-2024.

Previously, the Provincial Party Standing Committee decided to transfer comrade Vu Viet Anh to work at the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee from May 3, 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Vu Viet Anh promised to continue to cultivate, train, strive, join hands and unite with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to successfully implement the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress as well as successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee. In particular, focusing on performing the task of participating in building the Party, government and political system through promoting and improving the quality and effectiveness of the function of social supervision and criticism, focusing on supervising and criticizing the development and implementation of policies and guidelines for socio-economic development and national defense and security of the province. Strengthening the coordination of socio-political organizations and social organizations in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, especially building the great national unity bloc, promoting social security activities. The immediate task is to successfully organize the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels, towards the 17th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2028.

Comrade Vu Viet Anh was born in 1978 in Cam Giang district; has a master's degree in economics and advanced political theory. He has held the following positions: Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Ha district.
