On the occasion of the 74th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2021), on July 25, the Youth Union of Quang Tri province simultaneously organized many activities to pay tribute to the source.
The Organizing Committee started building a house of gratitude for former Youth Volunteers in difficult circumstances.
Many meaningful activities took place towards Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroic Martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and families with meritorious services to the revolution such as: Starting the construction of gratitude houses for former youth volunteers in difficult circumstances; presenting 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to children of policy families in Vinh Lam commune, Vinh Linh district; presenting funds to build 6 gratitude houses worth 70 million VND/house; visiting and presenting gifts to lonely former youth volunteers in difficult circumstances and policy families in Cam Lo district...
On this occasion, Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union carried out many other meaningful activities such as: Organizing the program "Family meal warmed by mother's love" at the homes of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; organizing gift giving to lonely former youth volunteers and families with meritorious services; organizing a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery and the art concert "Aspiration for Peace", cleaning, offering incense and flowers at the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Road 9 and other cemeteries in the province.
The organizers give gifts to orphaned ethnic minority students in difficult circumstances.

* On the evening of July 25, at the Co Noi Intersection Historical Site, Co Noi Commune, Mai Son District, Son La Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society to organize a candle lighting, incense offering, and flower offering ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs and youth volunteers who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

At the Gratitude Ceremony, leaders of Son La Provincial Youth Union, Red Cross Society, Labor Federation and some Departments, Boards and branches of the province together with youth union members of the armed forces, agencies, units and enterprises respectfully offered candles, incense and flowers to the heroic martyrs, expressing deep gratitude to the generation of fathers and brothers who did not spare their blood, bones and youth, dedicating their whole lives to the independence and freedom of the nation, to the happiness of the people and youth today.
