Comrade To Lam, General Secretary and President, chaired and directed the discussion on the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; the report summarized a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process in Vietnam over the past 40 years.

Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister chaired the discussion on the draft report assessing the 5-year implementation of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021 - 2030, directions and tasks for socio-economic development in the 5-year period 2026 - 2030; draft report assessing the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in 2024, the projected socio-economic development plan in 2025; report assessing the implementation of the state budget in 2024, the state budget estimate in 2025; the 3-year state budget - finance plan 2025 - 2027; and the policy of building the North-South high-speed railway.

Comrade Luong Cuong, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, chaired the discussion on the draft report summarizing the personnel work of the 13th Party Central Committee and the direction of personnel work of the 14th Party Central Committee; the Project to amend and supplement Decision No. 244-QD/TW, dated June 9, 2014 of the 11th Party Central Committee on promulgating the Election Regulations within the Party; the draft report summarizing the work of Party building and implementation of the Party Charter to be submitted to the 14th Party Congress.
