Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Science and Technology Council, assessed that over the past time, all levels, sectors and universities have made many contributions to the field of science and technology development. The signing of the cooperation agreement between the Department of Science and Technology and Hai Duong University is a practical and timely activity to contribute to promoting state management of science, technology and innovation.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed that the development of a coordination program on science, technology and innovation activities must comply with regulations. The two sides will jointly study and continue to propose to the province mechanisms and policies to support the improvement of capacity for science, technology and innovation activities; research, apply, transfer and replicate the results of scientific and technological research, technical advances, and experience initiatives into practice.

At the workshop, the Universities: Sao Do, Thanh Dong, Hai Duong Medical Technology... presented many solutions for the development of science and technology of the province, of each industry and university. In which, the focus is on solutions to build science and technology plans that are close to and suitable for reality; invest funds, people, equipment, time to research and create quality products with high applicability in practice. The universities also focus on researching topics not only in the scope of teaching and learning but also comprehensively expanding to other fields...

Delegates also said that in the current context, scientific research also faces many difficulties in terms of research capacity of sectors and schools; investment funding is still limited...

The Department of Science and Technology and Hai Duong University have signed a cooperation program on science and technology. In particular, the Department of Science and Technology will create favorable conditions for Hai Duong University to participate in research on topics in related industries and fields. The products of Hai Duong University will be widely published and applied appropriately.
