After many hours of dedicated treatment by doctors at Hai Duong General Hospital, at around 11:30 p.m. on June 23, Ms. TTNA (born in 1993) also died. Ms. A. was the second victim to die in the case of a mother and child in Van An Ward (Chi Linh) being brutally stabbed.

As reported, at around 1:50 p.m. on June 23, suspect D.D.L. (born in 1985 in Mat Son residential area, Chi Minh ward) drove to the house of Ms. NA and her children in Tuong residential area, Van An ward (in the same city of Chi Linh). Then, the suspect used a weapon to stab Ms. NA and her biological mother, Ms. LTH, multiple times. After committing the crime, suspect L. drove away in a car.
Due to the severity of her injuries, Ms. LTH died on the way to the emergency room. At around 11:30 p.m. the same day, Ms. NA also died due to multiple stab wounds.
According to information obtained by reporters, the suspect and Ms. NA used to live together as husband and wife and have a child together. The suspect L. has completed his sentence.
Currently, the authorities are urgently coordinating to arrest the suspect and investigate and clarify.
