Nam Sach pays over 80 billion VND to support site clearance for construction of Tan An bridge and access road

On November 7, the Compensation and Support Council for Site Clearance of Nam Sach district coordinated with the People's Committees of Hop Tien, Nam Trung and Thanh Quang communes to pay 125 households in Hop Tien commune, 74 households in Nam Trung commune and 29 households in Thanh Quang commune with a total amount of over 37 billion VND.

Previously, on November 6, the District Compensation and Site Clearance Support Council paid over 42.6 billion VND to 140 households in Quoc Tuan commune and 89 households in Nam Tan commune.

Thus, after only nearly 2 months since the district publicly announced the compensation and site clearance support plan to households affected by the project (from September 23), up to now, 419 households have agreed and received compensation and site clearance support with a total amount of over 80 billion VND.

The entire agricultural land area in 5 communes affected by the project, including Quoc Tuan, Hop Tien, Nam Tan, and Thanh Quang, has been recovered.

In Nam Trung commune, only one household has agreed to the compensation support plan, but there are still problems with the division of inheritance rights. Regarding residential land, the district is currently focusing on completing the approval of compensation plans for 16 households in Hop Tien and Nam Tan communes.

Tan An Bridge crosses Kinh Thay River, part of the Tan An Bridge Construction Investment Project and the access road connecting National Highway 18. According to the design, the bridge is 574.6m long, with the two ends of the bridge belonging to Nam Tan Commune (Nam Sach) and Chi Minh Ward (Chi Linh).
