In 2023, the number of infectious disease cases in Hai Duong increased sharply

Typically, dengue fever (DF) appears early and in all 12 months of the year instead of being concentrated in August and September as in previous years. In 2023, the whole province recorded 1,646 cases of dengue fever, an increase of 1,031 cases compared to 2022. Of which, more than 1,000 cases had domestic pathogens. The Department of Infectious Diseases of Hai Duong General Hospital received 626 patients, many of whom had severe disease progression, some of whom had to be transferred to the Central level for treatment.
