From October 15, the salaries of teachers and teaching staff in vocational training institutions are regulated according to codes and professional title standards. The highest salary is 14.4 million VND and the lowest is 3.3 million VND/month.

Regarding teachers' salaries in vocational schools, Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) has just issued regulations, codes, professional title standards; salary classification; standards, conditions for examination or consideration of promotion of professional titles of civil servants specializing in vocational education.

The subjects of application are civil servants teaching in colleges, secondary schools, public vocational education centers (called public vocational education institutions) and other related organizations and individuals; civil servants who are teachers teaching high school cultural knowledge in public vocational education institutions apply the regulations on codes, professional title standards, salary transfer, promotion of high school teacher professional titles issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. The Circular takes effect from October 15 and does not apply to civil servants who are teachers teaching teacher training groups under the state management authority of the Ministry of Education and Training, teachers teaching at college, secondary, and elementary levels at training institutions under the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense.

Vocational teachers' highest salary is nearly 14.5 million VND/month from October 15

The salary of vocational education officials is calculated according to the formula = Salary coefficient x basic salary of 1,800,000 VND. Thus, according to Article 14 of Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXH, the salary of lecturers in secondary schools and vocational education will be adjusted as follows: Senior vocational education lecturer - Code: V.09.02.01, is applied the salary coefficient of type A3 group 1 (A3.1) officials from salary coefficient 6.20 - 8.00, equivalent to 11.16 - 14.4 million VND/month. Main vocational education lecturer - Code: V.09.02.02, is applied the salary coefficient of type A2 group 1 (A2.1) officials from salary coefficient 4.40 - 6.78, equivalent to 7.92 - 12.204 million VND/month.
