Some Toyota car models in Hai Duong are in short supply.

Specifically, some domestically produced and assembled car models such as Toyota Vios (listed price for 3 versions from 458-545 million VND/car), Toyota Veloz Cross (2 versions with listed price from 638-660 million VND/car) have been in short supply for more than a week.

In addition, some imported car lines are also in a similar situation as the Toyota Yaris Cross (there are 2 versions with listed prices from 650-777 million VND/car).

According to Toyota Hai Duong, the reason is due to the sudden increase in customer demand. According to market rules, the end of the year is always the time when car models sell the best. Along with that, the Government has issued Decree 109/2024/ND-CP stipulating a 50% reduction in registration fees for domestically produced and assembled cars, effective from September 1 to November 30.

When this policy is applied, the dealer also applies the same promotion level for imported cars. Therefore, customers benefit, possibly getting a discount of 25-80 million VND/car. From September to November, Toyota Hai Duong sold an average of 180 cars per month, an increase of more than 80 cars compared to previous months.

At some dealers such as Mazda Hai Duong, Kia Hai Duong and Hyundai Hai Duong, supply is still sufficient to meet demand, there is no shortage of goods.
