Nhon Ly fishing village with winding slopes leading to the sea, the blue and white mural road reminds many tourists of the famous island of Santorini.

Nhon Ly is a commune on Phuong Mai peninsula, about 20km from Quy Nhon city center (Binh Dinh). In addition to familiar check-in spots such as Eo Gio, Ky Co, Nhon Ly commune also has a small, pristine fishing village that is loved by many tourists - Nhon Ly fishing village.

Hai Chi (28 years old, Hanoi) and her husband visited Quy Nhon on a car trip from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in August. This was her third time to Quy Nhon. The previous two times, Hai Chi had experienced famous destinations in this city such as Eo Gio, Ky Co, Cu Lao Xanh... and mainly went for a vacation. This time, the couple prioritized peaceful, rustic destinations such as Nhon Ly fishing village.

According to Hai Chi, traveling to the fishing village is very convenient. This is the place where canoes gather to take tourists to Ky Co by sea, so tourists can take some time to visit Nhon Ly. The fishing village has an area of about 1.4 hectares, most of which is covered by hills and white sand. Inside the village are houses with typical coastal architecture with low roofs, stone fences, and in front of each house there are steps or stairs. The houses are arranged gradually towards the hills, facing the sea.

The coastal village is small and rustic. Coming here early in the morning, visitors can watch the sunrise at the embankment and admire the life of fishermen. "Villagers are rushing to transport fish and shrimp to the market on old motorbikes. The scene is both lively and peaceful," said Hai Chi.

The roads in the village are very steep and lie gently towards the sea. These slopes are winding and curving, no less than Da Lat.

Around the village, there are many murals with the main color tones of blue and white, which tourists liken to the Vietnamese version of "Home town cha cha cha". Some places have bougainvillea trellises, standing out against the white painted walls, reminding Hai Chi of a small corner of Santorini - a place she experienced on her recent trip to Europe. "What I like most here is the peace, no rush, no noise. The people are friendly, always smiling", Hai Chi confided. "Sometimes, traveling does not necessarily mean going to famous places, jostling to wait to take a check-in photo, but you can choose peaceful places, immerse yourself in the life there", she added.

This village has not yet developed tourism, so there are few entertainment activities. However, visitors can combine visiting here when coming to Eo Gio, Ky Co, experience catching seafood with fishermen, buying seafood at the coastal market at dawn, swimming, watching the sunset. The cuisine in Nhon Ly fishing village is very diverse, from Northern dishes such as vermicelli with fermented shrimp paste to Binh Dinh specialties such as fish cakes, banh it... and especially fresh seafood.
