According to Australia's Watoday newspaper, the amount of money that players participating in the 2023 Women's World Cup will receive is more than the figure given by FIFA.
Recently, Watoday newspaper had a general review of the 2023 World Cup taking place in New Zealand and Australia.

Notably, in the article, the Australian newspaper revealed that each player participating in the 2023 Women's World Cup will receive a minimum of 45,000 USD (more than 1 billion VND).
This figure is much higher than the 30,000 USD (about more than 700 million VND) previously given by the World Football Federation (FIFA).
Specifically, FIFA used 163 million USD to reward players. The prize for the teams in the group stage is 2.3 million USD, the quarter-finals 3.3 million USD, 4th and 3rd place receive 3.7 and 3.9 million USD respectively.
Meanwhile, the runner-up received 4.5 million USD and the champion team was awarded 6.5 million USD.
For players, they will receive a minimum of 45,000 USD and a maximum of 408,000 USD (9.6 billion VND).
This means that each player of the Vietnamese women's team will earn at least more than 1 billion VND from participating in the 2023 World Cup.
