Le Huynh Duc and many former Vietnamese football stars had a friendly match in Hai Duong

On the afternoon of December 1, a series of former Vietnamese football stars such as Le Huynh Duc, Dang Phuong Nam, Nguyen Van Sy... gathered at Ha Hai football field (Hai Duong city) to attend a friendly match on the occasion of the launch of the Hai Duong Former Footballers Club.

The team has many former Vietnamese players such as Huynh Duc (third from right, back row), Dang Phuong Nam (second from right, front row), Minh Duc (fourth from left, front row), and siblings: Van Dung (fifth from left, back row), Van Sy (third from left, back row), Duc Thang (blue shirt), Duc Thinh (far right, back row)... Two famous players The Anh and Cao Cuong did not play due to health reasons.

Huynh Duc, Van Sy, Duc Thang... became famous in the 90s when Vietnamese football re-integrated with the international arena and the domestic league turned to professionalism. After retiring, most of these famous players were successful in their coaching roles.

The Hai Duong Former Players Club consists of many players who played in the highest football league in Vietnam in the 80s and 90s. Many players were the core of the clubs: Hai Duong Van, Military Zone 3, Nam Dinh... The club currently has nearly 30 members who are all old but maintain regular training and have close relationships with many generations of football players. The club also organizes many friendly matches abroad such as China, Thailand, Cambodia...

In addition to football, before establishing the club, former Hai Duong players had many social activities such as giving bicycles and gifts to poor students. Before the friendly match, the Hai Duong Former Players Club gave 5 gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash, to students of Hai Duong College of Culture, Arts and Tourism.
