Dragon Festival held for the first time in Quang Ninh

The tournament has 10 Lion Dance teams from all over the country. The tournament also has the participation of the Lion Dance team from Dongxing city, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.

Participating in the tournament, the teams went through 3 events: Mai Hoa Thung Competition, Lan Dia Buu and Dragon Dance.

The first highlight in the series of activities of the Dragon Festival is the exciting and dramatic competitions from the strongest Lion and Dragon teams in Vietnam. In addition to witnessing the artists demonstrate their skills through eye-catching performances, visitors to the Dragon Festival can also participate in an exciting "expedition" at Dinoshow - the show "Dinosaurs and friends".

The Dragon Festival atmosphere is more vibrant thanks to the appearance of music, dance, colorful costumes, performances by Samba and Zoy dancers... by artists from all over the world.

The tournament will take place from April 27 to May 1. Visitors to Sun World Ha Long will be able to watch eye-catching lion and dragon dance competitions, experience the amazing dinosaur show or check-in at the unique Dragon Garden during the first Dragon Festival.

This is the first practical activity organized with the desire to bring the traditional beauty of Vietnamese Lion and Dragon Dance to Ha Long land. The festival is the beginning of a series of cultural, artistic and sports events of Ha Long City during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, creating new, unique, vibrant and attractive tourism products, contributing to attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate, while promoting the image of Ha Long tourism to domestic and international friends.
