Prepare safety plans for Ha Long Carnival 2024

The Ha Long Carnival 2024 is an annual event with many exciting activities and is expected to attract a large number of locals and tourists. To ensure absolute safety for the event, the functional forces of Ha Long City have proactively deployed plans to ensure security, order, traffic safety, health, environmental sanitation, etc.

At the Ha Long Carnival 2024 event area, Ha Long City Police have developed a plan and deployed on-site solutions to ensure security and order, traffic safety, and fire prevention before, during and after the Carnival.

Lieutenant Colonel Vo Quang Hoa, Captain of the Traffic Police - Order Team, Ha Long City Police, said: "During the holidays, it is forecasted that the traffic density and number of tourists coming to Quang Ninh and the event venues will be very high. Following the direction of the Provincial Police, Ha Long City Police has developed a plan, mobilized professional departments and offices, coordinated with the Department of Transport, the army and related forces to participate in ensuring security and order at locations inside and outside the festival area. In particular, to ensure traffic plans, the traffic police force, Ha Long City Police, has also developed a plan, coordinated with departments, offices, and local authorities to increase patrols, control, handle violations, and traffic flow... at entertainment venues. We will work all night and throughout the holidays to ensure the safety of people and tourists when coming to have fun and experience Ha Long".

Along with ensuring security and order, at this time, medical plans have also been deployed synchronously in the festival areas, training areas as well as the delegates' accommodation... Particularly at the training and festival sites, 6 medical teams will be arranged, reinforced from hospitals and units in the city, and some emergency teams from outside the hospital will be on duty.

Ms. Duong Thi Quyen, Deputy Head of the Ha Long City Health Department, said that to ensure the safety of medical work during the Carnival, the Ha Long City Health Department has coordinated with the Department of Health, the Medical Center and hospitals in the area to prepare human resources, assign emergency teams, as well as medical equipment and supplies to be ready to serve. In addition, the unit has also established inspection teams on food safety, epidemics, etc. to prevent and strictly handle violations, contributing to ensuring the safety of the festival.

This year's Ha Long Carnival will be very unique with different highlights compared to previous years, notably the live art performance and the first Carnaval on the sea in Vietnam. Along with that, there will be attractive and vibrant art performances by nearly 1,500 professional and non-professional actors and fireworks displays combined with cruise ship parades and paragliding; promising to attract a large number of people and tourists. Therefore, in order to bring a beautiful image of the Carnival and the summer tourist season, along with plans to ensure safety in terms of security and order, health, etc., Ha Long City is also actively implementing urban beautification, festive decoration and paying attention to building environmental sanitation plans around the Carnival area and the entire city.

Mr. Hoang Vinh Ha, Deputy Director of the Ha Long City Public Service Management Board, said that the unit has currently installed and arranged 46 mobile toilets around the Carnaval area to serve delegates, people and tourists; increased human resources, material resources, coordinated with related units to do a good job of trimming ornamental trees, installing miniature landscapes, lighting systems, decorative electricity, etc. at the Carnaval festival site and the entire city. At the same time, the board has also arranged to increase forces, participate in monitoring and urging units to perform environmental sanitation tasks at assigned locations to ensure a green - clean - beautiful environment.

Ha Long Carnival 2024 will be held with performances and parades on the sea and on the sandbank of Ha Long Bay with musical art, harmoniously combining history and culture to highlight the heritage - world natural wonder of Ha Long Bay at night, affirming the exceptional value of Ha Long Bay. This will be a highlight contributing to increasing the tourist attraction of Ha Long in particular and Quang Ninh in general during the holidays and summer tourist season. Therefore, all work to ensure safety, security and order, ... is being implemented synchronously at all stages. Up to now, all preparations for Ha Long Carnival 2024 have been basically completed, ready for a grand, unique, special program bearing the mark of Quang Ninh people to send to domestic and foreign tourists.
