Leaders of Vietnam Farmers' Union attend the 10th Congress of Quang Minh Commune Farmers' Union

Leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union awarded the "For the Vietnamese Farmer Class" Medal to 2 members.

Also attending were comrade Nguyen Van Phu, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association.

In the 2023-2028 term, the Farmers' Association of Quang Minh Commune (Gia Loc) strives to have over 60% of farming households achieve the title of excellent production and business at 4 levels every year; 95% of households achieve the title of cultural farmer family; each association helps 4 poor households, builds a cooperative group to link production and product consumption.

During the past term, implementing the coordination program "Joining hands to protect the environment in the area", the Commune Farmers' Association actively organized propaganda and mobilized members not to dry rice and straw on roads, not to burn straw after harvest. Built 2 models of "Waste-free fields", 1 model of "Farmers collect pesticide packaging according to regulations and say no to burning straw after harvest". The Association provided 250 high-value fruit seedlings to farmer members, planted over 500 acacia trees around landfills, public areas, inter-village roads... The above activities have contributed to building an advanced new rural area, moving towards a model new rural area in the locality.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union awarded the "For the Vietnamese Farmer Class" Medal to two members who have made many contributions to agricultural, farmer and rural activities.
