Spreading solidarity at the first military-civilian cultural festival in Kinh Mon

At the Military-Civilian Cultural Festival of An Luu Ward (Kinh Mon, Hai Duong), many activities took place to express the close bond and spread the solidarity between the military and the people in the area.

On December 8, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of An Luu Ward organized the Military-Civilian Cultural Festival. More than 250 delegates and people attended the festival. At the festival, the government and people of An Luu ward reviewed the glorious tradition in the two resistance wars against France and the US, achievements in the renovation process; evaluated the results of local defense and military work in conjunction with socio-economic development in the ward.

On this occasion, the Military Command of Hai Duong province, the People's Committee of Kinh Mon town, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of An Luu ward presented 30 gifts (each worth 300,000-500,000 VND) to families with meritorious services to the revolution and policy families in the ward. At the festival, there were many exciting activities attracting a large number of people and military forces to participate, such as tug of war, badminton, and exhibition of documentary photos... In the photo: The tug of war competition was enthusiastically responded to by the teams.

The Military-Civilian Cultural Festival is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024). This is also an opportunity to foster the affection between the armed forces and the people in the ward.

According to the plan, from December 9-22, the remaining communes and wards of Kinh Mon town will organize the Military-Civilian Cultural Festival.
