At the 2024 National Swimming and Diving Championship, swimmer Pham Thi Thu of Hai Duong was announced by the organizers as the best female diver with 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals.

The 2024 National Swimming and Diving Championship for Outstanding Athletes has just ended in Tay Ninh with the first, second, and third places for the entire delegation belonging to Nghe An, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City, respectively.
Hai Duong swimming and diving team finished in 4th place out of 12 medal-winning teams. At this tournament, Hai Duong sent 10 athletes to compete, winning a total of 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.
In particular, athlete Pham Thi Thu won 4 gold medals in the 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m double fin diving events; 2 silver medals in the 50m and 100m air fin diving events.
This is the fourth consecutive time that swimmer Pham Thi Thu of Hai Duong has won the title of best female diver at this tournament.
The remaining 2 bronze medals of Hai Duong belonged to athlete Vu Ngoc Diep in the 200m and 400m double fins events.
This year's tournament brings together 159 athletes from 19 provincial, municipal and industry units across the country to compete for 60 sets of medals in both swimming and diving.
Athlete Pham Thi Thu was born in 2002, in Thai Duong commune (Binh Giang). Admitted to the Hai Duong Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center since grade 4, to date, swimmer Pham Thi Thu has won hundreds of medals of all kinds from national and international arenas. Most notably, 2 gold medals at the 31st SEA Games in her first participation; 3 gold medals at the 32nd SEA Games, breaking 2 SEA Games records; 3 Asian gold medals... Pham Thi Thu was honored to receive 1 Third-class Labor Medal awarded by the President after returning from the 32nd SEA Games; 2 certificates of merit from the Prime Minister; 13 certificates of merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province; 1 certificate of merit from the Vietnam Aquatic Sports Association...
