Hai Duong swimming and diving team continuously reported good news from the 25m National Swimming and Diving Championship

The 25m National Swimming and Diving Championship has 233 athletes from 23 sports delegations nationwide, competing for 71 sets of medals, including 26 sets of diving medals and 45 sets of swimming medals.

The Hai Duong swimming and diving team of coaches Pham Dang Khoa and Dinh Thi Toi has 13 athletes, assigned the target of 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals, competing in 12 diving events.

After 2 days of competition, the Hai Duong team won 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals. In which, swimmer Pham Thi Thu won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal; the remaining gold medal and silver medal were won by Le Thi Thanh Van. This was an unexpected victory, as both Pham Thi Thu and Le Thi Thanh Van are currently the top swimmers and divers in Vietnam and have won the SEA Games, Southeast Asia or Asia.

According to coach Pham Dang Khoa, the Hai Duong swimming and diving team has 2 more days of competition, and Pham Thi Thu alone can win 3 more gold medals, putting the Hai Duong swimming and diving team at the top of the overall rankings.

After 2 days of competition, Hai Duong and Ho Chi Minh City teams are leading the whole team, with 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals, followed by Dong Nai, Thai Binh, Hanoi...

At the 2023 National Swimming and Diving Championship, the Hai Duong team won a total of 5 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals, ranking second overall, 1 gold medal behind Hanoi.

The 25m National Swimming and Diving Championship is the first major tournament that the Hai Duong swimming and diving team will participate in in 2024.
