On the morning of October 14, Kim Thanh district organized forces to support the construction of the 220kV Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant - 500kV Pho Noi Station transmission line through Thuong Vu commune.

The 220kV Hai Duong Thermal Power Line - 500kV Pho Noi Station section through the two villages of Thuong Do 1 and Vu Xa, involving 27 households whose land area is located within the power grid safety corridor, has signed and received compensation support for trees, crops, and assets on the land with a total amount of over 3.4 billion VND. However, after receiving the support and compensation, up to now, 18 out of 27 households have not agreed to let the construction unit carry out the construction.
The Kim Thanh District Compensation and Resettlement Support Council and the Thuong Vu Commune People's Committee have repeatedly communicated, mobilized, and explained, but the 18 households above did not cooperate and continued to request an increase in compensation support outside of the State's policy, causing difficulties for project construction.

According to the Kim Thanh District Compensation and Resettlement Support Council, the land of the above households is land converted from unstable, low-efficiency rice cultivation to perennial crop cultivation combined with aquaculture. At the time of counting and payment of support and compensation, the Provincial People's Committee had not yet permitted the change of land use purpose.
The 220kV Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant - 500kV Pho Noi Station transmission line project was approved for investment by the National Power Transmission Corporation in November 2018. The project has 184 pole positions, the line length is 53.83 km, of which pole position 38 passes through Thuong Vu commune (Kim Thanh), the corridor passes through 27 households in 2 villages Vu Xa, Thuong Do 1. Up to now, the entire project line has been basically completed, except for the pole position passing through Thuong Vu commune that is still facing problems.
