It is forecasted that in the coming days, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will continue to have rain. Specifically, from the evening of September 10 to the afternoon of September 11, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 30-70mm, locally over 120mm; Lao Cai and Yen Bai will have heavy rain, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 50-100mm, locally over 200mm. On the night of September 11, this area will have moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with common rainfall of 20-40mm, locally over 70mm.

In the Northern Delta, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa from the evening of September 10 to the afternoon of September 11, there will be heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 50-120mm, locally over 250mm.

From the night of September 11 to the afternoon of September 12, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 30-70mm, locally over 120mm.

In addition, in the evening and night of September 10, in the area from Nghe An to Thua Thien Hue, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15-30mm, locally over 70mm.

Heavy rain and localized heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.

In Hai Duong, due to the influence of the tropical convergence zone connecting with the low pressure area (weakened from storm No. 3) with an axis through the North combined with the strengthening of the southwestern edge of the continental cold high pressure, from the morning of September 10 to the morning of September 12, Hai Duong province will have moderate rain, heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The common rainfall is 80 - 150mm, some places higher.
