Dai An Industrial Park expansion (Hai Duong) phase 2 still has 76 hectares of land that has not been cleared

By the end of June 2024, the Dai An Industrial Park Phase 2 expansion (Cam Giang) still had more than 76 hectares in Cam Doai and Cam Dong communes that had not been cleared, accounting for 33.6% of the project area. This area is mainly agricultural land and aquaculture ponds.

In Cam Doai commune, the authorities have inventoried, established and posted compensation and support plans for 173 households and individuals, but only 41 cases have received compensation to hand over the site. In addition, 435 out of 443 graves in the commune have paid compensation and moved.

Cam Dong Commune still has 30 households using aquaculture land subject to site clearance. The authorities have inventoried, established and posted compensation and support plans for 28 cases, but only 3 households have agreed to receive compensation.

The main problem is that households request support for land investment costs. Because households cannot provide a contract or the contract is not in accordance with regulations, or the contract has expired, there is no basis for making a compensation and support plan.

Currently, Dai An Industrial Park Infrastructure Development One Member Co., Ltd. has deployed the construction of technical infrastructure of the industrial park on an area of ​​146 hectares that has been licensed, ensuring progress according to 2 construction permits granted in June and September 2023. Dai An Industrial Park expansion phase 2 has attracted 1 secondary investment project with a total investment capital of 270 million USD.
