The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts that today, October 2, cold air will cover and dominate the weather in the entire North, then spread to the North Central region and some places in the Central Central region. Northeast wind inland level 3, coastal areas level 4-5.

During this cold spell, the weather will turn cool, the nights and early mornings will be cold, especially in mountainous areas. The lowest temperature is 19-22 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas 17-19 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas, some places are below 16 degrees Celsius. In Hai Duong area, the wind will turn northeast at level 2-3. The weather will turn cool, the nights and mornings will be cold, during the day there will be less clouds and sunshine. The highest temperature during the day is 27-28 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature is from 21-22 degrees Celsius.

From Nghe An to Thua Thien Hue, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, and very heavy rain in some places. Rainfall from last night to the end of today will generally be 30-70mm, with some places over 150mm. Warning of the risk of localized heavy rain (>100mm/6 hours). Heavy rain will gradually decrease from tonight.

In addition, this afternoon and tonight from Da Nang to Binh Dinh and the Central Highlands, there will be showers to heavy rain. Rainfall is from 10-30mm, in some places over 100mm. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
