The Investigation Police Agency of Nam Sach District Police has just decided to prosecute Dinh Ngoc Hai (born in 1990, residing in Dinh village, Thai Tan commune, Nam Sach) for the crime of resisting a person on official duty.
According to the investigation results, on the evening of May 24, the patrol, control and handling of violations of alcohol and drug concentrations of Nam Sach District Police performed their duties on Tran Phu Street, in Mac Thi Buoi area, Nam Sach town.
At 8:20 p.m., the Task Force signaled to stop motorbike 34B2-106.44 driven by Hai for inspection. Not complying, Hai drove straight into the Task Force, causing Senior Lieutenant Tran Van Doan, an officer of the Traffic Police and Order Team, to fall onto the road. The Task Force immediately restrained the subject. When tested for alcohol concentration, Hai's result was 0.605 mg/l of breath.
Currently, Senior Lieutenant Tran Van Doan's health is stable.
