On the morning of September 27, Israeli warplanes carried out 39 airstrikes in southern Lebanon and 30 in the east, destroying about 80 houses and a fuel station, and damaging the power grid.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes carried out a large-scale airstrike from midnight on September 26, mainly in the city of Nabatieh.

According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, Israeli airstrikes on towns and villages in southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours have killed 49 people and injured 80 others.

Over the past week, Israel has carried out its largest air campaign against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon since the 2006 war, killing hundreds of people.

In response, Hezbollah has fired hundreds of rockets at targets in Israel, including in the economic hub of Tel Aviv. These developments are raising concerns that the conflict will spread to other countries in the region.

Amid the escalating Hezbollah-Israel conflict, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said on September 27 that 30,000 people in Lebanon had crossed the border into Syria in the past 72 hours.

Of those crossing the border, about 80% are Syrian and 20% are Lebanese. In addition, about half of them are children and teenagers. The number of men crossing the border is smaller than that of women.
