Hezbollah refuses to normalize relations with Israel

Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem reaffirmed that he will not accept any normalization of relations with Israel and condemned Tel Aviv's ongoing actions in southern Lebanon.

Israel attacks South Lebanon

Israeli artillery and air strikes have hit southern Lebanon after intercepting rockets fired from across the border. There were no reports of casualties on either side.
Lebanon accuses Israel of 'distorting' withdrawal

The LAF statement stressed that 'some steps were delayed due to the Israeli enemy delaying the withdrawal' although Lebanon 'was ready to continue the deployment'.
