Hyundai Stargazer "shocking" reduction, price is only equal to Hyundai i10, KIA Morning

Currently, the selling price of Hyundai Stargazer at the dealer is fluctuating in a downward direction compared to the price reduction at the beginning of the year.

Specifically, a survey at many Hyundai dealers in Hanoi showed that the Stargazer model currently has the highest discount of up to nearly 130 million VND, including 2 special and premium versions.

A sales staff at Hyundai Dong Do advised that the standard version of Hyundai Stargazer has been reduced by 121 million VND to 454 million VND. If registered in Hanoi, the on-road price will be more than 500 million VND. "This is an unprecedentedly low car price. Even the amount of money to buy the low-end version of Hyundai Stargazer is now only equivalent to Hyundai Grand i10 Sedan 1.2 AT, which is in a lower segment," this staff analyzed.

Similarly, the Hyundai Stargazer special edition is reduced by 127 million VND to 498 million VND, the premium edition is reduced by 127 million VND to 548 million VND.

Previously, the "deep" discount recorded for Hyundai Stargazer took place in early February this year with incentives ranging from 60 to 70 million VND.

According to sales staff, this is the time when dealers are preparing to run sales when 2023 is only 2 months away, but there are still quite a lot of Hyundai Stargazer cars in stock. Therefore, the Hyundai Stargazer car discount campaign can be carried out until the inventory is gone.

With a new "deep drop" in price, Hyundai Stargazer continues to be the cheapest small MPV in the segment. Behind Stargazer is the Suzuki Ertiga hybrid version, which is applying a 100% preferential registration policy for both versions, reducing the price to 485 million VND.

In September 2023, data from VAMA showed that Stargazer sold 400 units, a sharp increase of 330% compared to the previous month (93 units sold). In the first 9 months of 2023, Stargazer sold 2,600 units, ranking 3rd in the entire MPV segment, behind Mitsubishi Xpander (14,187 units) and Toyota Veloz (6,142 units).

Hyundai Stargazer is distributed in Vietnam with 4 versions equipped with automatic transmission and no manual transmission option. All 4 versions share the same 1.5L 4-cylinder engine, 115 horsepower, 144 Nm torque.
