Responding to National Digital Transformation Day and Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day

Mr. Lam Dinh Thang, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, said that in response to National Digital Transformation Day and Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City responded with a series of activities at many units and enterprises such as: seminars, book exhibitions, exchange programs, seminars associated with digital transformation in the fields of publishing, printing and distribution...

“Currently, promoting digital transformation, e-publishing, and technology development in the book sector are key issues that publishers and distributors are interested in. In recent years, the publishing industry in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general have had specific products associated with digital transformation," added Mr. Lam Dinh Thang.

At the opening ceremony, the organizers also introduced the Nguyen An Ninh Digital Library - Southern Topics (trial version). This is an open knowledge space, performing the function of storing document sources such as paper books, audio books, digitized books and documents, documentaries, etc.

Dr. Quach Thu Nguyet, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lotus Foundation, said that the Nguyen An Ninh Digital Library project also cherishes the desire to become a cultural space with many activities such as online talk shows, thematic seminars, podcasts, author and researcher exchanges... aiming to attract young people to read and learn about the culture and history of the familiar Southern land but with many new things to discover.

In addition to the exhibition of 5 favorite Vietnamese Entrepreneurs books and 10 business books worth reading in 2023, Top 100 books worth having in the corporate bookshelf, the organizers also introduced the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Digital Library and the experience of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Digital Library at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street. These are 2 libraries that help store and increase the value of the "assets" of knowledge and experience of Vietnamese entrepreneurs, thereby serving the needs of reference, research, and study of all social classes...

A series of activities in response to National Digital Transformation Day (October 10) and the 19th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day took place from October 10 to 16, co-organized by the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine, Hoa Sen Foundation and other units.
