Hue on the list of Asian destinations to visit in 2024

Travel + Leisure in late November suggested to international travelers 14 destinations to visit in Asia in 2024.

According to travel experts, destinations in Asia have all the attractive elements for a trip such as tropical forests, sacred ancient temples, bustling cities, pristine beaches and impressive festivals.

Hue is considered an "ideal destination for relaxation" when traveling to Vietnam, with the best time to visit being from January to April.

Travel experts suggest that tourists visit the imperial city of Hue, explore the tombs of the kings and ancient pagodas. Taking a boat trip on the Perfume River, listening to Hue folk songs and admiring the poetic natural scenery along both banks are also interesting experiences when coming to Hue.

In addition, visitors can also visit the brewery or camp, trek, and bathe in the Voi stream. The Tiger Arena, where battles between elephants and tigers took place during the Nguyen Dynasty, is also one of the unique relics you should not miss in the ancient capital.

From Hue, visitors can also easily visit Da Nang, one of the famous tourist cities. If you plan to visit the ancient capital in June, you can combine enjoying impressive performances at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

Other destinations on the suggested list include: Palawan (Philippines), Takayama (Japan), Red Sea (Saudi Arabia), Incheon (South Korea), Pak Chong (Thailand), Zhangjiajie (China), Saint John's Island (Singapore), Kratie (Cambodia), Cameron Highlands (Malaysia), Mirissa (Sri Lanka), Meghalaya (India), Ras Al Khaimah (UAE) and Taipei (Taiwan).

The travel magazine also suggested Vietnam as one of the most affordable destinations in Asia to visit in 2024.

American travel magazine Travel + Leisure is famous for its World's Best Awards, which annually ranks airports, cities, hotels, cruise ships and islands, based on reader surveys.
