The new version of the off-road scooter has improved handling at low speeds and the body uses environmentally friendly materials.
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Honda introduced the X-ADV 2025 first for the European market, then to other countries. The new version of the road scooter focuses on improving some features and refining the driving feeling. For the first time in the motorcycle industry, Honda equipped the X-ADV 2025 with recycled materials.
Notably, the Japanese automaker has refined the handling at low speeds. In addition to using recycled materials for the body, engineers have also used Durabio biomass plastic for some parts of the front of the car.
Other upgrades on the 2025 X-ADV include one-hand operation on the Durabio windshield with three levels. Redesigned LED headlights, daytime running lights integrated with turn signals using "hidden eye" technology, according to the company.
Recycled plastics and biomass-based materials are used for 25 body parts. The 820 mm seat height improves handling and the 920 mm handlebar height improves visibility for the rider.
The X-ADV 2025 is equipped with a 5-inch TFT color screen with many interface options and supports smartphone connectivity via the Honda RoadSync application. Cruise control system with DCT dual-clutch transmission. Smart key, front glove compartment, 22-liter under-seat compartment, integrated USB-C port. Turn signals integrated with ESS emergency stop light.
Other technologies on the X-ADV 2025 include an electronic throttle that provides four riding modes, including Normal, Sport, Rain, and Gravel. Users can also customize settings for power distribution, engine braking, ABS, and three-level traction control.
The newly refined DCT dual-clutch transmission of the X-ADV allows for control at low speeds, below 10 km/h, especially when turning. The DCT has 5 settings. In Gravel mode, the X-ADV uses a sporty shifting pattern and adds a slip reduction mode, helping the rider feel the traction on the rear wheel, especially when driving on rough terrain.
According to plan, Honda X-ADV 2025 will be sold first in Europe from the end of this year, price announced closer to the time.
