Cam Giang Farmers' Association focuses on building collective economic models

Leaders of Hai Duong Provincial Farmers' Association and Cam Giang District congratulated the success of the District Farmers' Association Congress.

During the 2023-2028 term, the Farmers' Association at all levels in Cam Giang district will continue to improve the professional qualifications and organizational capacity of association officials to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles; focus on building collective economic models, cooperatives, cooperatives; clubs of good farmers and businessmen; apply new scientific and technological advances, digital transformation in production, build high-tech agricultural models, organic agriculture... so that members are more attached to the association.

The District Farmers' Association currently has a total of 33,610 members, operating in 17 associations. During the 2018 - 2023 term, the Farmers' Associations at all levels in the district have promoted their core role in emulation movements. The associations at all levels have mobilized and guided the establishment of 15 professional farmers' associations and groups. The grassroots Farmers' Association has established and maintained the effective operation of 18 models of groups and associations, attracting 486 members to participate. All associations have art, physical education and sports clubs... In the past 5 years, the whole district has had 35,237 households achieving the title of good production and business at all levels. The associations at all levels are providing credit to 2,458 member households to borrow over 152 billion VND to develop production and business; helping 146 out of 348 households escape poverty...

The 12th Congress of the Farmers' Association of Cam Giang district for the 2023-2028 term elected a new Executive Committee of 21 members.
