Magen David Adom Rescue Services General Manager Eli Bin told reporters that three of the injured were in critical condition, five were seriously injured and the rest had light to moderate injuries.

Several helicopters and ambulances were dispatched to Binyamina town to take the injured to medical facilities for treatment.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said no air raid sirens were triggered before the airstrike and said the incident was under investigation.

This is considered a rare airstrike on Israeli territory that causes such a large number of injuries because Israel's air defense systems usually give warnings before such attacks.

Meanwhile, Israel Army Radio reported that initial investigations showed that at least two drones had flown from Lebanon and approached Israel from the Mediterranean Sea. One drone was intercepted but the Israeli military was unable to track down the other.

About an hour after this attack, the Israeli military announced that another drone from Lebanon was intercepted in Haifa Bay in northern Israel.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah forces in Lebanon confirmed carrying out the attack and announced that the armed group had deployed a squadron of drones to attack the Golani Brigade training base in the town of Binyamina.
