Hai Duong handles 742 cases of students violating traffic safety order

From the beginning of the year to April 22, Hai Duong traffic police have inspected, detected and recorded 742 cases of students violating regulations on road traffic safety and order.

Of which, 130 cases were warned and 437 notices were sent to schools. The total amount of fines was nearly 359 million VND.

Traffic violations among school-age children mainly include not wearing helmets (657 cases), not obeying traffic lights (13 cases), weaving (2 cases)...

This is the result of the implementation of the Ministry of Public Security's plan to implement Directive No. 31/CT-TTg dated December 21, 2023 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring traffic safety and order for school-age children in the new situation in the province.

Hai Duong Provincial Police are implementing many key contents such as propaganda, instructing on vehicle control skills for each student age, each area and locality. Improving the quality of the model "Traffic safety school gate"; "Youth volunteers", "Red flag team" participating in ensuring traffic safety and order... Reviewing illegal parking spots around the school area to have solutions, promptly recommending to fix potential traffic accident spots, organizing traffic in the school area...
