Hai Duong launches voluntary blood donation campaign on Tet holiday

The campaign is held from January 11 to March 10. The whole province strives to mobilize at least 4,000 units of blood, of which at least 65% of the blood units have a volume of 350 ml or more; mobilize at least 300 reserve people and people with rare blood types to be ready to donate blood during the Lunar New Year holidays to provide timely blood supply for emergency and treatment work.

The provincial level organizes the Red Spring Festival, striving to attract over 1,000 participants and receive at least 500 blood units. The district level organizes a series of voluntary blood donation days to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, combined with the Tet fair and the Charity Tet. Organizes a voluntary blood donation festival to celebrate the Vietnamese Doctors' Day on February 27. Coordinates the organization of the "Red Sunday" blood donation festival in industrial parks and clusters. The Provincial Youth Union coordinates with Tien Phong Newspaper to organize the "Red Sunday" launching ceremony, mobilizing 1,000 volunteers to donate blood, striving to collect over 600 blood units.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation has requested relevant agencies, units and localities to diversify their propaganda methods to call for and encourage people from all walks of life to donate blood to save lives.
