These days, many agencies, units and localities in Hai Duong have organized "gratitude" activities to commemorate the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024).
On the morning of July 25, a delegation of Hai Duong Provincial Police led by Colonel Bui Quang Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police, held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Hai Duong City Martyrs Memorial, the Political Prison Relic Site and the Martyrs Memorial Stele in the premises of the Provincial Police.
Previously, the Provincial Police established 3 working delegations led by leaders of the Provincial Police to burn incense to martyrs of the People's Police, including leaders of the Provincial Police and provincial police officers who sacrificed their lives during the renovation period; visited and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers cared for by the Provincial Police, war invalids, and relatives of martyrs working at units under the Provincial Police.
* On the afternoon of July 25, the Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Cam Giang District Military Command to inaugurate and hand over the "House of Gratitude" to Mr. Dao Van Cu, born in 1938, in Hoang Gia village, Cam Vu commune.
Mr. Cu is a 4/4 class war invalid from the anti-American resistance war. Previously, he and his wife lived in a 28 m2 level 4 house.2, has degraded, the main income is the monthly allowance.
After more than 2 months of construction, the new house has been basically completed with an area of 35 m2, roofed with corrugated iron. The total construction cost was 180 million VND, of which the Military Region 3 Command supported 80 million VND, the remaining amount was from the family and descendants.
* On the morning of July 25, the 602nd Information Brigade, the General Staff of the Navy, coordinated to inaugurate the "House of Gratitude" for Mr. Dong Van In, born in 1946, a 61% disabled veteran with difficult circumstances in Bich Tay village, Nam Chinh commune (Nam Sach).
The 602nd Information Brigade, the General Staff of the Navy supported the construction of a “House of Gratitude” for Mr. Dong Van In with a total amount of 80 million VND. Along with that, Mr. Dong Van In received housing support according to Decision 22/2013/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister for people with revolutionary contributions.
The 602nd Information Brigade, Navy General Staff is the sister unit of Nam Sach district.
* On the morning of July 25, Gia Loc district held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs at Gia Loc district martyrs cemetery.
Previously, on the evening of July 24, Gia Loc district held a candlelighting ceremony at the martyrs' cemetery in Gia Tan commune. At the ceremony, Gia Loc district presented 140 gifts with a total value of over 50 million VND to policy families and meritorious people in the district.
On this occasion, communes and towns propagated, mobilized, and allocated budget to visit and give gifts to nearly 3,200 policy beneficiaries and families of meritorious people.
* On July 25, the Youth Union and Veterans Association of the provincial agencies offered incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs of Tan Binh Ward (Hai Duong City).
After that, the delegation visited and presented 12 gifts (each worth 600,000 VND) to policy beneficiaries and relatives of people with revolutionary contributions in the ward.
