Authorities confiscated all used clothes of unknown origin with a total value of about 245 million VND.
On November 13, the Market Management Department of Hai Duong province issued a decision to fine Nguyen Van Thiet (born in 1992, residing in Hiep Thach residential area, Hiep Son ward, Kinh Mon) 45 million VND for trading in goods of unknown origin.
Authorities also confiscated all used clothes of unknown origin with a total value of about 245 million VND.
Previously, on October 29, Market Management Team No. 5 (Market Management Department of Hai Duong province) organized an administrative inspection of the vehicle 20C-251.61 driven by Mr. Pham Van Phuc (in Thuong Hien commune, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh) and discovered 9,794 kg of ready-made clothes contained in 166 pineapple sacks. All of these goods had no legal purchase documents or invoices, and were identified as belonging to Nguyen Van Thiet.
Market Management Team No. 5 has drawn up a record of administrative violations and submitted it to the Director of the Market Management Department of Hai Duong province for punishment according to regulations.
