Hai Duong temporarily stops traffic through 4 bridges for load testing

From October 5-9, Van, Day, Bong, Lo Cuong bridges through Tu Ky, Gia Loc, Kim Thanh districts and Hai Duong city will be inspected and tested to assess the quality of the project.

Van Bridge at km 37 of provincial road 392, in Tu Ky district, will be tested from October 5-6.

The load testing time of the bridges is as follows: Van bridge at km37 of provincial road 392, in Tu Ky district from October 5-6. Day bridge at km5+800 of provincial road 393, in Gia Loc district from October 6-7. Bong bridge at km11+950 of provincial road 390E, in Kim Thanh district from October 7-8. Lo Cuong bridge at km0+075 of Vo Nguyen Giap avenue, in Hai Duong city from October 8-9.

Bridges will be inspected and load tested from 10pm the night before to 4am the next morning. During the load test, all traffic on the bridge will be stopped for a maximum of 15 minutes per measurement.

The Department of Transport informs traffic participants to proactively plan their routes. People and vehicles traveling across the bridge should pay attention to stopping, waiting, and moving according to the instructions of traffic signs and traffic police.

In 2024, Hai Duong will have 8 bridges inspected and tested. By 10:00 a.m. on October 4, inspection and testing had been completed at 4 bridges, including Binh Bridge on National Highway 37; Da Vach, Hiep Thuong and An Thai bridges on National Highway 17B.
