Hai Duong will host the Robocon Competition for the first time.

The competition is for youth union members and students studying at high schools and vocational education and continuing education centers in Hai Duong who are interested in assembling and programming robots. Each school and center will form a maximum of 3 teams and register to participate in the form of a team, each team consisting of 5 members. Student groups can form their own teams to participate in the competition. The teams will be divided into groups by drawing lots and compete in a round-robin format.

With the theme "Travel Journey to the East", teams will control robots through obstacles to pick up gift boxes and place them in 12 boxes corresponding to famous monuments in 12 districts, towns and cities. After completing the task of placing gifts in 12 locations, the robots will move to the finish area to register to complete the competition.

Each match lasts 8 minutes.

Registration period is from July 15 to September 15, qualifying round from October 15 to 20. The final round and award ceremony will be held in early November 2023.
