The Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Duong province has classified 117 projects that are behind schedule and not implemented in accordance with regulations according to their operational status to propose solutions.
Previously, on May 16, the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment decided to establish 3 interdisciplinary inspection teams to inspect 131 projects that were behind schedule and not implemented in accordance with regulations. Through the inspection, 117 projects were identified to be classified for handling violations.
Based on the determination of subjective and objective reasons for the project's delay, the Department of Planning and Investment advised the Provincial People's Committee to assign the department to take the lead in handling investment violations for 34 projects. From there, it recommended the Provincial People's Committee to adjust or terminate the project's operation. At the same time, it handled 4 projects with public land areas that were eligible to be separated into independent projects.
The Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Duong province presides over and guides investors of 64 projects to make deposits and appraisals, and advises the Provincial People's Committee to consider and approve adjustments to investment policies. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment is responsible for presiding over and handling land violations for 15 projects. On that basis, it is recommended that the Provincial People's Committee extend land use or reclaim it according to regulations.
