To implement 77 projects, Hai Duong plans to reclaim nearly 396 hectares of land, including 2 international hospital projects in Hai Duong City and Chi Linh.
The information is stated in the report of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province on the request for the Provincial People's Council to approve the recovery and allow the change of purpose of use from rice-growing land and protective forest land arising in 2024 to carry out projects and works.
According to the report, Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee proposed to reclaim 395.58 hectares of land to implement 77 projects and works in the province.
Some projects with large areas proposed for recovery include Thanh Mien new urban area (over 91.3 hectares); southern park of Hai Duong city, Gia Xuyen commune (over 48 hectares); new residential area of Dong Cam commune, Kim Thanh district (44.9 hectares); Tay Son ecological residential area, commercial services, Kinh Mon town (nearly 33.9 hectares); Ninh Giang inland waterway port of Vietnam National Shipping Lines (over 27 hectares); Thai Tan industrial cluster, Nam Sach district (10 hectares)...
Notably, among the projects proposed for land acquisition for implementation, there are 2 international hospital projects in cities in the province. These are the project to build an international hospital in Lien Hong commune (Hai Duong city) with an area of 3.2 hectares (Green Hai Duong International General Hospital) and the project to build an international hospital at the Chi Linh Cultural, Sports, Commercial and Urban Center project in Cong Hoa ward with an area of more than 0.2 hectares.See detailed project list here.
