Hai Duong proposes the Prime Minister to allow planning for Thanh Long Lake eco-tourism area in Chi Linh

On April 3, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province sent a document to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposing the implementation of the Thanh Long Lake eco-tourism area (Chi Linh).

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee proposed the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to allow the Thanh Long Lake eco-tourism area with an area of ​​about 1,380 hectares to be moved out of the boundary in the dossier of the task of planning the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the Con Son - Kiep Bac special national relic site associated with the development of tourism in Chi Linh city in the period of 2023-2033, with a vision to 2050. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee is allowed to plan the Thanh Long Lake eco-tourism area into a landscape area, supporting the promotion of the value of the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site, soon turning this place into an international tourist area.

According to the master plan for the conservation of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Special National Relic Site associated with the development of tourism in Chi Linh town, Hai Duong province in the period of 2010-2020, the Thanh Long lake area is located in the special exploitation zone. Currently, the Prime Minister has allowed to continue extending the implementation period of the relic planning and allowed to review and establish a new planning suitable to the situation, orientation of the relic development and the locality. The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has completed the dossier of the task of establishing a plan for the conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Special National Relic Site associated with the development of tourism in Chi Linh city in the period of 2023-2033, with a vision to 2050. The Thanh Long lake area is within the scope of this planning. Hai Duong province's planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, clearly defines the relic conservation area and Thanh Long lake tourism development area with an area of ​​about 1,380 hectares.
