The signing of this cooperation agreement aims to implement the conclusions and memorandum of understanding between the Standing Committee of Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee.
On the afternoon of November 23, in Bac Giang City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong province signed a plan for coordination and development cooperation for the period 2023 - 2025 with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang province.
Specifically, the two departments will coordinate with the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Ninh province to advise the People's Committees of the three provinces to complete the scientific dossier of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex to submit to UNESCO for recognition as a world heritage site. Link and coordinate to promote, advertise and promote tourism investment in the form of "Two localities - One destination"; connect the Tourism Associations of the two provinces to effectively exploit tours and tourist routes in the region, especially the tourist route connecting the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site, Chu Van An temple, Thanh Mai pagoda (Hai Duong) with Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Suoi Mo eco-tourism area, Tay Yen Tu eco-spiritual tourism area (Bac Giang). Coordinate with relevant departments and branches to research, build and connect the waterway tourism route (cruise) from the Vinh Nghiem pagoda special national relic site, Suoi Mo eco-tourism area (Bac Giang) with the Con Son - Kiep Bac special national relic site, etc.
The cooperation plan also aims to improve the effectiveness of management, exploitation, use and promotion of the potential and strengths of culture, sports and tourism of the two provinces of Hai Duong and Bac Giang; diversify forms of investment attraction, linkage in tourism development; preserve and promote the unique cultural values of the two provinces; raise awareness, specify goals, directions and solutions for organizing the implementation of tasks; strengthen linkage and exchange of experiences to support each other in promoting potential and advantages, promoting socio-economic development between the two provinces.
