The infrastructure of the residential area north of 52m road in Hai Duong city (commonly known as the "Duck grass lotus pond" area) is not synchronous, affecting people's lives.
In this area, the wastewater collection system is only built in sections, not connected synchronously between households. Therefore, some households have to "plug" the wastewater collection pipes directly into the ground. The domestic water system has not been supplied to the houses. Households who want to use clean water must connect the pipes to the water supply point in the old residential area next to it.
This residential area north of the 52m road has not yet been arranged for garbage collection at home. Every day, people have to bring their garbage to a number of locations on Truong Chinh Street.
Contacting Hai Duong Clean Water Trading Joint Stock Company, it was known that because the infrastructure of the above residential area is not qualified, this company cannot accept to operate water supply to serve the people. Regarding the issue of waste collection, in the public service contract for the collection, transportation and treatment of domestic waste signed between the Department of Urban Management of Hai Duong City and Hai Duong Urban Environment Joint Stock Company, there is no collection volume in the residential area north of 52m road. Simply put, this residential area has not had its domestic waste collected.
According to the approval of the detailed planning for the construction of the new commercial - tourism - cultural and urban area in the west of Hai Duong City in December 2008 by the Provincial People's Committee, the residential area north of 52m road in this project planning has a total area of nearly 13 hectares, invested by Nam Cuong Hanoi Group Joint Stock Company.
