On December 12, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province coordinated with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize the summary, award ceremony and opening of the "Ninh Binh Art Photography 2023" Exhibition.
After nearly 3 months of launching, the Ninh Binh Provincial Art Photography Contest 2023 received the participation of 144 authors from 22 provinces and cities across the country with 1,085 works. The Organizing Committee awarded 21 prizes to authors with outstanding works, including one first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 15 consolation prizes. In which, the first prize was awarded to author Nguyen Duc Nguyen (Ninh Binh) with the work Water Procession on Hoang Long River.
In addition to the works that won high prizes at the Contest, the Organizing Committee selected 129 other works to participate in the Contest along with 21 works by Ninh Binh authors who won awards at other domestic and international art photography competitions in recent years to display at the exhibition.
According to the Organizing Committee, the works awarded and displayed in the exhibition adhere to the theme, content and convey emotional images, vividly reflecting the beauty of Ninh Binh people in their labor to build the homeland; the beauty of natural landscapes and historical, cultural, architectural and artistic relics; unique traditional folk festivals, folk performances and performances. Many works show the beauty of traditional craft villages and crafts; the beauty in the spiritual and cultural life of the people and the activities of the people and the community in preserving, maintaining and promoting the value of cultural heritage and cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities.
The art photography contest in Ninh Binh and the photo exhibition contribute to introducing and promoting to domestic and international friends about the people and the ancient capital of Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh "friendly, gentle, elegant, hospitable". This is also an opportunity to honor, recognize, introduce the creative achievements of art and express the perspective and creative viewpoint of the photographers. The exhibition is held from now until December 18, in Hoa Lu ancient town.
