Domestic gasoline and oil prices increased in today's operating period.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, from 3:00 p.m. today, January 2, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 240 VND/liter, to 20,057 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 199 VND/liter, the new price is 20,746 VND/liter.
In addition, diesel price increased by 125 VND/liter, to 18,755 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 126 VND/liter, the new price is 18,834 VND/liter and mazut increased by 129 VND, to 16,099 VND/kg.
During this operating period, the joint ministries did not set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.
As of the time before price adjustment, the balance of the Price Stabilization Fund at Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) was 3,080 billion VND, unchanged from the most recent announcement period.
Previously, in the operating period on December 26, 2024, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND 427/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND 457/liter; diesel decreased by VND 103/liter; kerosene decreased by VND 260/liter, while the price of mazut increased by VND 67/kg.
